Storyline:
When college student Chelsea Bilson meets up with her estranged childhood best friend, Milla, she is unprepared for the events that follow. Milla, who is now a webcam girl briefly catches Chelsea on camera during one of her shows. Unbeknownst to her, Chelsea has now been exposed to a watcher who becomes obsessed with her beauty and naiveté. He soon discovers Chelsea’s true identity and will stop at nothing to have her to himself. Chelsea enlists the help of her mother and the two must fight for their lives in order to stop an obsessed and murderous madman.
Also, a college film student named Chelsea (the blonde from the beginning of the movie.) is having a rough time. Her boyfriend, Eric, breaks up with her, AND she is late for class. Chelsea and her friend Sara run into an old friend from grade school named Milla at the club. They drink and party. Things take a turn when Milla reveals that she is a “webcam girl.” because this movie is set in the 90’s? The feed is live, and Jake is watching. He fixates on Chelsea and pays $200 to watch her dance. She dances awkwardly and isn’t aware that Jake is screen recording her.
