Storyline:

An abandoned dog teams up with other strays to get revenge on his former owner. Abandoned on the mean city streets by his lowlife owner, Doug, a naive but lovable dog named Reggie falls in with a fast-talking, foul-mouthed Boston Terrier and his gang of strays. Determined to seek revenge, Reggie and his new canine pals embark on an epic adventure to get him home and make Doug pay for his dirty deed. Reggie is a gullible Border Terrier living with his owner, Doug, a drug addict and sex offender. Even though Doug only keeps him around to spite an ex-girlfriend he cheated on, Reggie is under the impression that Doug loves him and does everything he can to make him happy, much to Doug’s chagrin.

After a night with an Australian Shepherd named Maggie and a therapy Great Dane named Hunter, it slowly dawns on Reggie that Doug is not the nice owner he made him out to be. Bug tells the Bulldog named Chester that for the last time, there was no fence and to come with them as Chester disagrees. He decides to get revenge by ripping Doug’s penis off, with the other strays accompanying him for support. However, he barely knows the way back, his only clues being a “hamster-less ball” (a county fair Ferris wheel), a “giant cone” (a hill), and “a devil floating in the sky” (a billboard with a picture of a mailman).
