Storyline:
After surviving an incredible plunge to near-certain death, Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) is snatched by Chinese mobsters. Getting up 90 days after the fact, Chev observes that his almost indestructible heart has been supplanted with a battery-worked gadget that requires customary shocks of power or it will fizzle. Chev escapes from his detainers, reunites with his darling, Eve (Amy Smart), and sets out on a rushed pursue through Los Angeles to get his genuine heart back.
Chev Chelios endures a tumble from the sky, kind of. He’s in an obscure area, calmed, while different Chinese are reaping his organs. His heart is gone, in a fridge; an impermanent in its place. Chev evades, knowing just the name of the person with the refrigerator. He calls Doc Miles, an unlicensed cardiologist, who lets him know there’s just an hour’s life in the fake heart: keep it charged. Chev requirements to track down his own heart and get to Doc for a transfer. He begins his time-restricted quest for shadowy figures, the fridge, and his heart helped by Eve, Rei, and Venus – a stripper, a whore, and a buddy with Tourette’s – continually requiring an electric charge to continue onward.
